They held their visions and goals close in order to keep their positivity. During covid they sought to adapt to the crisis rather than looking at the negatives sides.

Did they succeeded in applying Kawasaki’s principles? Yes, they had a lot of vision and Steve Jobs was very optimist about the rising company, so he worked hard on making their visions reality. They wanted to create and innovate, bring something new to the world. Steve Jobs’ passion allowed him to expand his vision to other people, providing success for the company. They prioritized innovations that aligned with their visions and were very successful. However, at times, Steve Jobs found it hard to keep a clear mind, he was very demanding to employees which caused a bad image for the company. Approach to leadership Their main approach was to implement their vision of the company to others. This way other people saw their passion and sought to follow them in order to complete this vision.

The company thought Steve Jobs was problematic. Steve Jobs thought that the high prices on the products were worth it due the innovations and advanced technology implemented on them. He prioritized quality over accessibility.

During apple’s early days the founders participated in the tasks, ensuring that they were completed correctly. Apple also tested their products, which provided an insight on how they could be improved.
What steps did they take to develop and empower their team? Apple sought to hire people with skills to improve and grow the company. They wanted to bring new technology to the world and innovations that would change the world as we knew it. By having this vision, employees (and founders) were motivated to innovate and grow the company. Now, apple has training and leadership programs to help employees grow.
How did they approach hiring and did they bring in talent that surpassed their own skills? They approached hiring by looking at people that had vision and talent. They sought for people that had a great vision for apple and that had talent in their area. This helped people focus on their jobs while also bringing innovation to other areas. They hired Angela Ahrendts as VP of online stores and was a huge success for the company.
