Each day we will continue to build on our communication with our peers and our teachers. This will include the correct etiquette for a healthy and happy learning environ,net. A please and thank you go a long way after all!

Our Vocab Charts will serve as a record for new and reintroduced vocabulary associated to our themes of work and daily classroom language.
Our words take their true power when they work together! Our sentence frames will show us the structure needed for sentences to make sense, including the use of their best friends, punctuation!
Through games and speaking practice and classroom activities, student's will become more and more aware of correct verb and tense usage. Plus an attentive ear and consistent gentle and fun reminders from their teacher will help too!
Through total English immersion in our lessons, students will have the opportunity to repeat and practice their pronunciation with a native English speaker. In addition, our Fundations program leans heavily on phonics games and its main function is to have students repeating sounds, words and sentence formation both individually and a cohesive class.

We will start our Homework adventures in kindergarten! Each week students will have an activity to complete at home with or without their parent's assistance. It may include activities or themes that we have covered during the week or perhaps be an introduction to a topic that we will be diving into the following week. Thursday will be the 'take home' day, and Monday we will the 'bring it back to the classroom for review' day. Our hope that this weekly practice will ignite a learning independence and fuel our students' curiosities inside and outside of the classroom for a lifetime to come!
