It focuses on the individual's capacity for growth, including the learner's values, beliefs, and freedom of choice.The professor allows groups to choose a topic, take stances, and defend their positions, with the option to change the topic/subject.However, a student specifically wanted to curve the outcome of the relationship between queer couples adopting children. Connectivism

People learn and grow while forming connections through hobbies, work, and social interactions.I attended a crowded Women's Rights discussion when a woman mentioned DACA. At the time, I worked with DACA/Undocumented students.I chased her, got her number, and together learned and bridged undocumented resources from the non-profit organization United We Dream with the Dream Scholars at the University of Houston.

Transformative Learning

Learners continuously add and re-evaluate personal thought processes, beliefs, and values."Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack," to understand my privilege as a white woman in a gender and race studies course. The theory of motivation in one's sense of self provides the foundation of well-being and personal accomplishment through influences, experiences, social interactions, and emotions - about their ability to complete a task.Safely and confidently saying, "I can do it," and mean it.I recently set a boundary within my department, stating that this job function is listed as the pay grade above my current job title.Outcome: New title, same pay.
