Transcript
The border represents our planet and its resources. We need to move away from systems that extract at the expense of society and the environment (in other words, do harm) and work within the boundaries of our planet, ensuring that we are not just sustaining our resources (doing less harm), but restoring these systems (undoing harm) and regenerating these systems (doing good). Our actions today create the shape of the future and play an important role in what the puzzle could look like.
World: Puzzle border
Connected pieces are like teams, communities and ecosystems. If we use the example of a child, a politician, a bee and a river represented as different ‘puzzle pieces’, they are connected through community and ecosystems. For example, perhaps the child lives in the politician’s community. And perhaps this community exists within the bee’s habitat. Their connections play an important role in understanding and shaping the picture.
We: Connected puzzle pieces
Each puzzle piece is a living being. For example, different puzzle pieces could represent a child, a politician, a bee and a river. Each piece is valuable and needed to complete the puzzle.
