Introduction

What are Personal Pronouns?

  • Personal pronouns are words that replace specific nouns referring to people or things, helping to avoid repetition. Here 2 types:
    • Subject pronouns. Used as the subject of a sentence.
    • Object pronouns. Used as the object of a verb or preposition. Ej. She (subject) is working for him (object).

How important do you think they are in daily communication?

Personal Pronouns

  • Subject Pronouns: I, you, he, she, it, we, they.
  • Object Pronouns: me, you, him, her, it, us, them.

  • 'We love her' → 'They love us.'
