Should you wish to travel to any location within the city, we highly recommend using safe transportation services such as the “Uber” and “DiDi” apps, which were mentioned earlier.For your safety, please always follow next points:

1. You must only use authorized taxis (Uber/Didi/airport taxi/Scholastico).
2. While in the vehicle, all occupants must wear seat belts.
3. The number of passengers must not exceed the vehicle’s designed capacity.
4. If you identify that the driver is not in a condition to drive, you must refuse to board or take the trip.
5. If you identify that the vehicle is not in optimal condition, you must refuse to take the trip.

Near your hotel, you will find shopping centers such as “Samara Shops”, “Centro Santa Fe” and “Patio Santa Fe”, as well as various restaurants in the vicinity.

Your hotel offers a shuttle bus service that will transport you from the hotel to Bosques Site or nearby places. Upon arrival at the hotel, please inquire at the reception desk about this service to learn about the schedules, routes, and steps to reserve it.Services from hotel to Unilever office and vice versa are already booked, you just have to respect the schedule to guarantee a place there.

1. Proceed to the “Baggage Claim” area ("Reclamo de Equipaje") to collect your luggage.
2. Locate the carousel corresponding to your flight number.
3. Retrieve your luggage and proceed to the authorized taxi stands located nearby.

*Uber and DiDi apps are not recomended for airport-hotel transport due to limited access of both companies in the airport.4. At the taxi stands, provide the location of the hotel listed in the following section.

In order to ensure you a safe arrival: when your flight arrives, please make sure to inform Monica Fragoso and update her on your status until you arrive at the hotel, as she will be monitoring your arrival. Her contact number is: +52 55 2670 3613

The office where our activities will take place is the “Bosques” site. You can find it on map applications by searching for “Unilever de México”, located at “Paseo de los Tamarindos 150, Bosques de las Lomas, Cuajimalpa de Morelos, 05120 Ciudad de México, CDMX.”Your hotel is approximately 3.5 km from “Bosques,” which can take between 8 to 25 minutes to reach, depending on the time of day and city traffic.

• The area where we will be holding the Workshop does not have space for personal belongings, so we recommend that you travel light from your hotel. Your laptop will not be needed to attend the Workshop.
• Please make sure you have your Insurance Letter available in case it is required.
• We invite you to join to our WhatsApp (WA) group to connect during our WS and also to receive quick messages, pictures and memories. Please remind that we must respect WA Unilever rules. You can see the WA link in the same mail where this handbook was sent.

Most restaurants and commercial establishments accept credit or debit cards; however, we recommend carrying some cash for tips or small expenses. Carrying around $600 MXN should be sufficient.Tipping in restaurants in Mexico is not mandatory, but it is customary to leave a 10% tip if you wish to do so.

In Mexico City, you should take the following precautions:

1. We recommend avoid going out at night.
2. If you visit tourist sites, try to do so during the day.
3. Do not take street taxis; instead, use Uber or DiDi.
4. Avoid drinking tap water, as it is not potable.

The hotel is located in an area with corporate buildings, shopping centers, and restaurants.You can easily find the hotel’s location by searching for “Hotel Camino Real Santa Fe” on applications such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, Uber, or Didi.Check-in: Monday 23rd 3:00PM Check-out: Friday 27th 12:00PM

The hotel where you will be staying is “Camino Real Santa Fe” located at “C. Guillermo Gonzalez Camarena 300, Santa Fe, Zedec Sta Fé, Álvaro Obregón, 01210 Ciudad de México, CDMX, México”.It is situated in the western part of Mexico City, approximately 28 km from Benito Juarez International Airport (AICM). The journey from the airport to the hotel will take between 40 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on the time of day and city traffic.

*If you identify any unsafe conditions within the hotel premises, it is important to report them to SHE and the hotel to request a room change to one that is in appropriate condition for your stay.
