Epoque
I lived the interwar period and in the 30s at the same time in The United Kingdom there was the "red decade". When i had started university, the Second World War had begun two years ago and the aggression towards the jews increased. I was also able to experience the beginning of the Cold War era i experiencing strong sexism and the presence of a more marked patriarchal system, especially in my field of work.

Anecdote
During a vacation climbing the Alps i had to experience a storm, i refugee in a cave i was able to observe the formations of ice crystals on the walls of the cave. Fascinated by the geometric shapes that were created, i stayed studying them for hours. Upon returning from my trip, i told my colleagues how the ice followed specific patterns of formation that could reveal a lot about it's nature.
