Superlative
Sometimes it will be necessary for you to compare a subject with a group of objects for which you must use the superlative.
Now you will learn how to do it
First we present the following table. Observe the rules to form the superlative of an adjective.
Superlative
The superlative form allows you to express a characteristic of someone or something to the highest degree. Therefore, to use the superlative it is required that more than two nouns (people, animals, things or places) be compared.
To form superlatives we have the following structure:
Name (subject)
verb
adjective in superlative grade
complement
We use a superlative to say that a thing or person is the most of a group.
EXAMPLE
Now you will carry out the following activities on superlatives
For example:
The city of São Paulo is the largest in Brazil The Bible is the most read of all books on religion The black mamba is the fastest snake in Africa Paris is the most visited city in the world
