Children's social worker
"I have spoken to mum, Sasha. She was very wary of me visiting because she did not want Lee to see someone entering her property, so we have agreed to meet at Jake's play group. Sasha explained over the phone that Jake has started mirroring Lee's aggressive behaviour, which is concerning her. I have advised that Sasha can stop contact for now as she believes Jake is at risk of harm."
Housing Manager
"Sasha lives in one of our council properties. She has been in rent arrears but is on a payment plan. She has £100 left to pay on the plan currently. Sasha has not approached us about moving property, but she is welcome to contact myself and the Housing IDVA for advice."
Mental health practitioner
"Sasha is on the waiting list for talking therapies after her GP referred her. In her initial triage, she said that she had been feeling too anxious to leave the house because she had seen Lee watching her from across the street."
Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA)
"We had been unable to make contact with Sasha until this morning. She has agreed to an initial appointment where we will discuss her support options. She has mentioned that the police spoke to her about obtaining a non-molestation order, so I will provide more information on this."
Referring agency
"I referred Sasha to MARAC after completing a DASH risk assessment, which came out as high. I am aware that she has had a turbulent relationship with Lee, but she has never disclosed the abuse until this most recent incident. I also referred Jake to children's services because I have noticed a change in his behaviour; he has started to become more aggressive and Sasha is worried that he is picking the behaviour up from Lee."
Police Public Protection Unit
"Our records indicate that the police were called by a neighbour last May due to an argument between Lee and Sasha. No further action was taken at the time and Sasha did not want to take the case any further. I have spoken to Sasha about reporting incidents to the police and she has now made a statement about the most recent incident. She is considering a non-molestation order."
