trip to bath

Dear guys, for this year’s trip I thought I’d like to take you Bath, a spa city in the south-west of England. I thought about going in May because the weather is a little milder. Now, I’ll show you what I thought:

1 Day

Once we'll land in Bristol, a coach will be waiting for us and it will take us to the “Holiday Inn Express Bath” hotel where we will stay for 4 nights.

On May 14, 2025 we will departure from Milan Malpensa airport at 10:30pm with an easyJet flight and we will arrive in Bristol at 11:20pm local time. We'll all meet at the airport at 8:00pm for the boarding procedure.

- At 10:30pm we will return to the hotel.

- At 8:00pm we will meet for dinner at the “Franco manca Bath” pizzeria.

- When the tour is over, we will have a few hours to visit the center of Bath.

- At 3:00pm we will make our way to the main door of Bath Abbey to begin a guided ghost tour.

- At 1:00pm we will eat lunch at the “Nata & Co” restaurant.

- At 10:00am we will leave the hotel heading towards the Bath World Heritage center where at 10:30am we will begin a walking tour of the Bridgerton filming locations with music.

- At 8:00am we will meet for breakfast in the hotel.

2 Day

- At 10:30pm we will return to the hotel.

- At 8:00pm we will have dinner at the “Franco manca Bath” pizzeria.

- Once the boat tour is over we will have a few free hours for shopping.

- At 3:30pm we will do a boat ride where we will see the highlights of Bath from the water.

- At 1:30pm we'll eat lunch at “Robbie’s Plaice”.

- At 10:00am we will visit the Baths of Bath, one of the largest spa centers of the ancient world. We will start by visiting a museum with an audio guide where we will find the terrible gorgon head and the gilded bronze head of the goddess Sulis Minerva. After leaving the museum, we will enter the large bathroom where there is a hot water pool. Beyond the large bath there is the oriental bath area with heated rooms and massage facilities, the Roman gymnasium and the ancient sauna.

- At 8:00am we will have breakfast in the hotel.

3 Day

- 9:00pm we will return to the hotel.

- 7:00pm we will have dinner at the “Franco manca Bath” pizzeria.

- At 3:00pm we will take a panoramic tour in a double-decker bus with a panoramic view of the city.

- At 1:00pm we will have lunch at “The new inn” restaurant.

- At 10:00am we will visit to Bath Abbey and we will have a guided tour of the tower. We’ll visit the abbey and we will climb the 212 steps to the top of the historic tower to admire the view of Bath. Next we will visit Pulteney Bridge which crosses the River Avon.

- At 8:00am we will have breakfast in the hotel.

4 Day

At 4:00am we will departure by coach to Bristol airport where at 6:35am we will return home with an easyJet flight . The arrival at Milano Malpensa is scheduled for 9:40am.

On May 18, 2025 at 3:30am we will have a small breakfast in the hotel.

5 Day

Our guide will be wearing a costume and he will take us on a journey to discover the many haunted locations around the city of Bath. He will make us listen to stories of ghosts and witches. We will visit famuos places such as Bath Abbey, Queens Square, Theatre Royal and Victoria Park.

We will walk the city’s Georgian streets with a local guide and we will see filming locations from the hit TV show (netflix), including the featherington House, the Modiste Dress Shop and the Lady Danbury’s Manor. Highlights of the tour are the Guildhall, Bath Assembly Rooms, Royal Crescent, Bath Street, Abbey Green, Holburne and more. Earphones are included in the tour to hear the giude clearly.
