Block Out Time for Engineers – Individually or in Bulk

You can block out time for engineers without having to assign them to a job. This can be for sickness, holiday, training, college or apprenticeships or other reasons.

1. Select the time you would like to block out for the engineer. 2. An options menu will appear. Select Block Out Time.

You can block out time for engineers without having to assign them to a job. This can be for sickness, holiday, training, college or apprenticeships or other reasons.

3. On the new window, select your Reason from the dropdown menu. 4. Add any Notes if necessary. 5. Select a Date Range: Block out a single day or several days, such as a week of leave. 6. Adjust the Start and End Time.

You can block out time for engineers without having to assign them to a job. This can be for sickness, holiday, training, college or apprenticeships or other reasons.

7. Select Save to block out the time.

The blocked out time will appear on the timeline with the reason displayed. You can simply click on the event to change the reason, or right click it to delete it.

Customising the colours that appear on your timeline

1. On the scheduler home screen, select Settings. 2. Click Scheduler then select Scheduler Colours. 3. A pop up will appear which allows you to colour code your block out time categories, as well as your priority job categories. 4. To change a colour, click on the arrow next to the existing colour, chose the option you want and select Apply.
