.2I do not think social media is going anywhere any time soon. Now that people are able to make money, (a lot of money) off of it, it will continue to grow. I imagine, however, that the novelty of some of the "older" social media platforms will become irrelevant due to the newer platforms that will emerge. Some, like SnapChat, have already replaced Facebook and Instagram for Gen Z. As respectable woman in her mid-thirties, I will gladly use my Facebook and Instagram to access TikToks that are likely already months old.
