¿Cómo funciona el lenguaje de manera incluyente?

El español como lengua no es sexista o discriminatoria, pero el uso que de ella se hace sí puede serlo si no se emplea de manera cuidadosa. Así, el objetivo de esta guía es el uso correcto de la lengua para hacer los mensajes incluyentes y evitar masculinizar o feminizar la forma de comunicarnos, además de visibilizar de manera adecuada a todas las personas sin desvalorizar ni minimizar a ninguna de ellas.

No discriminatorio y no sexista

En el lenguaje incluyente hay que entender que el masculino no es universal ni neutro. En la lengua española no hay más razón para esta práctica que la convención social que no da visibilidad a las mujeres, etnias, nacionalidades, géneros, edades, discapacidades, condiciones sociales, de salud, religiones, preferencias sexuales, estado civil, ni a los cambios sociales que exigen el reconocimiento que de por sí merecen.
