Once all the items are on the desk, one student leaves the room. We hide one of the items. The student returns and must guess which item is missing
Each student brings an item that they love or that represents them. Everyone presents their item and places it on the desk.
Missing object
At this point, students take turns asking closed questions (such as YES/NO questions) to guess what these pieces of information represent in the teacher’s life..
The teacher draws a star and adds a piece of information about herself/himself at each point of the star, but the information should not be immediately obvious..
Star
For example: "Have you been on holiday in Paris?", "Would you like to live in Paris?", etc. Students usually enjoy this activity and have fun, especially when thinking about their own star and then getting others to guess it! Alternatively, students can complete the star themselves. Suggestions: Paris – the city where I took my first trip abroad – the city I dream of visiting – the city where my mother was born – the city where I was born.. 3 – the number of my children – the number of my pets – my favourite number 17 – how many years I have been teaching at this school – my daughter’s age – my brother’s age – the day I was born… Pose – the name of my dog – my favourite childhood game – my nickname April – the month I was born – my favourite month – my favourite song > My option Serbia (I've been there because my other foreign language of specialisation, apart from English, is Serbo-croatian)

Meet the school
- The teacher asks each student to privately write a fact about themselves on a small piece of paper, ideally one that has come up during the previous icebreaker activities.
- Then, everyone forms a circle and the pieces of paper are placed in the centre.
- Each student draws a piece of paper and, based on what is written, must try to guess who the author is.
The Cauldron
Each pair has 2 minutes to ask each other questions. At the end of the time, each student from the 2nd group stands up and moves to the right to sit with the next partner. It is advisable to use a timer to manage the time.
Divide the class into 2 groups. The 1st group (B) is sitting and in turn each student from the second group (A) sits in front of a member of the 1st group.
Speed Date
