BACK
Stative verbs describe a state or condition rather than an action. They indicate feelings, thoughts, perceptions, or relationships. For example, in the sentence "He understands the problem," "understands" is a stative verb because it reflects a state of comprehension rather than an action. Stative verbs are often used to describe something that is static or unchanging. They are often used in simple present sentences.

Action & Stative Verbs
Action verbs are words that describe an action or activity performed by the subject of a sentence, it can be someone or something. For example, in the sentence "She is dancing in the park," "dancing" is an action verb because it describes what she is doing. These verbs are essential for conveying what happens in a sentence and are key to effective communication. These verbs can be used in present continous sentences.
