What to Do When Case EBS is Down

BACKUP PROCEDURES

Case EBS is accessed via Purple ID or Quick Links in CED. Case availability within Case EBS is dependent upon the identified OpCo (time- or day-definite service type) and the current status of the tracking number entered.

If both Bridge and Case EBS are malfunctioning, a caller should be advised to call back or use the self-help options on fedex.com, FDM, or use the Virtual Assistant when applicable.

Using fedex.com, customers have many self-serve options, such as RTS for secured shippers, Redirect to Hold, Disputes Delivery, and other convenient options within FDM.
