Words of Wisdom

• Originally, Ms. Abrahantes was a dancer and made it her goal to become a Gablette. As she further involved herself at Gables she realized being a Gablette was not the right track for her.

• Joining highlights shortly after, she was fascinated by the layout of the magazine but as a staff writer she never got the chance to design it.

Humble Beginnings

• From here on out, she participated in various competitions her senior year one being a quick turn leadership challenge.
• As she was given several scenarios and prompts to take on a leadership role, she secured another All-Florida.

Committed to Journalism

• Stepping out of her comfort zone, Ms. Abrahantes challenged herself for her first FSPA competition choosing to do an infographic which at the time nobody in CavsConnect had ever done.
• Astonished with her performance, she was overjoyed to learn she had won her first All-Florida.
