Research appointment
Make the most of your library research appointment
- Please describe any research steps you've already taken
- If you’ve already found some sources (books, articles, websites), please share them with the librarian. Mentioning what you’ve found so far can help the librarian understand your research progress.
- Please share any difficulties you've encountered.
- Ensure you have a clear understanding of your assignment's requirements; librarians may be able to help interpret, but your instructor is your best resource for assignment questions.
- Please upload or email your research assignment to the librarian ahead of time if possible.
- Organization: Write down any specific questions or issues you have about your research (i.e., you might need help with finding sources, narrowing down your topic, or citations)
- Laptop
- Your assignment
- Anything needed for note-taking
- Optional: Download Zotero, a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, cite, and share research.
