CPU (central processing unit) It is the main component of a computer responsible for performing most of the calculations and tasks necessary to run programs and process data. Basically, the CPU is the "brain" of the computer.
RAM (random access memory) is a type of volatile memory used in computers and other electronic devices to temporarily store data and instructions that the CPU needs to access quickly.
PCI SLOTS (PERIPHERAL COMPONENT INTERCONNECT) are connectors on a computer's motherboard that allow you to connect expansion devices, such as graphics cards, sound cards, network cards, and other types of additional hardware. These slots allow external components to communicate with the CPU and other systems within the computer.
AGP SLOTS(Accelerated Graphics Port ) are a type of expansion slot on computer motherboards, specifically designed to connect graphics cards (also called video cards). The AGP standard was introduced by Intel in 1997 as a faster and more efficient alternative to the PCI standard to improve the graphics performance of computers, especially in 3D applications such as video games and graphic design software.
ATX connector (Advanced Technology eXtended ) is a type of standard connector found on desktop computer power supplies that is used to supply power to the motherboard and other system components. The ATX standard was introduced by Intel in 1995 and has been the basis for desktop computer motherboard and power supply design ever since.
Rear input/output ports son los conectores situados en la parte posterior de la carcasa del equipo, directamente conectados a la placa base. Estos puertos permiten la conexión de periféricos y dispositivos externos que son esenciales para la operación y la interacción con el sistema.
battery CMOS A small round battery that powers the BIOS memory to maintain system settings when the computer is off.
