Action Verbs
These verbs describe someone or something doing an action (eat, run, jump, walk, etc).Examples:He is playing soccer.I eat an apple everey day.
Stative verbs
This verbs do not describe an action (remember, love, think).Examples:Hey, do you remember when I lost my phone?.Wow, this song is so good, I love it.
Verbs with both uses
Sometimes the verbs can be "action verbs" and "stative verbs", like have, is a stative verb when it means to own.-She has a blue pencil.But have can also mean experience or to eat, then it's an action verb.-He is having dinner.(can be used in the present continuous).
Grammar- Expressing preference with would rather
Compare two actions with would rather.. than: I would rather play basketball than watch TV. This means you would like the firts action more the second. In questions, you can use or to compare two opcions: Would he rather go out or stay home?The short form of would is often used: I´d rather play basketball She´d rather watch sitcom
