Gravity
Know- What do you already know?
Want to Know - What are you curious about?
Learned - What did you learn today?
Today, we will create a KWL chart to help us reflect on our gravity lesson.
Vocabulary
Force- A push or a pull Gravity - the force by which a planet or other body draws objects toward its center. The force of gravity keeps all of the planets in orbit around the sun.
Weight in Space
- Discuss with your table group why there is a greater force of gravity on larger objects in space and less gravity on smaller objects in space.
- Next, your teacher will have each person stand on a scale to determine how much you weigh on Earth. (This info is for you only and will not be shown to anyone else.)
- Finally, complete the weight in space worksheet.
