Let's get acquainted!
We are three enthusiastic teachers from Martin Nadaud's Middle School in Guéret in France. Our names are Christelle, Aurélie and Aurélie.
Christelle, English teacher
Aurélie, Biology teacher
Aurélie, Art teacher
Our school
We teach in Martin Nadaud's Middle school, in Guéret, France. There are about 450 students.
Our school values
Martin Nadaud's team has been working on global goals for years and it has been awarded with "E3D" and has been an "eco school" (Gold Level) since 2018.
We are also deeply convinced of the importance of cooperation between teachers from different European countries. Last year, we cofounded an eTwinning project about sport and inclusion with Polish and Spanish schools and received a National award for it.
In 2024, we also got the accreditation for ERASMUS +. That's why, today we want to take another step in both our global goal and European collaboration missions.
Our project
The project «Eco citizens of tomorrow» aims at building up a partnership between European students from different countries on sustainable development issues especially in terms of environment.
How?
The students will collaborate online on an eTwinning project first. Then, we teachers, would like them to meet and cooperate in person through an Erasmus mobility.
Why?
The students, rich of this experience, will become responsible and committed European eco citizens
The pedagogical objectives
- to familiarize students with ICT tools to work and communicate online
- to promote knowledge about global goals and green practices
- to exchange on local environmental issues
- to promote cultural tolerance and open-mindedness (in terms of daily life, innovating use of natural resources, artistic practices...)
- to engage in a reflection about the relationship between Man and its environment (landscape, biodiversity, land art)
Step 1: The eTwinning project
