WHY SHOULD I USE ONENOTE?
WHY SHOULD I USE ONENOTE? Aside from the fact that your teacher is using OneNote, there are so many amazing reasons for you to use it!
- Keeps you organized and saves all your work and notes in one place!
- Provides a space where you and your teacher can work synchronously or asynchronously for tutoring and feedback.
- You can "replay" the order your notes appear in
- this is great for watching a math example or anything that includes steps
- You can create your own pages and add to notes from your classes as you wish
- You can print documents
- You can type, insert images, or draw
- You can link to a website to save research all in one place as you work
WHERE IS MY ONENOTE You can access OneNote from a variety of places after you first access it in the Resources tab on edio. I strongly suggest using the OneNote for Window 10 app on your computer. Please watch this video to learn how to find this app, pin it to your desktop and access your notebook this way.
BASICS We will use OneNote in a variety of ways, but some features are MOST important. In this video, we will review how to:
- copy pages to YOUR OneNote
- setting up drawing tools
- replaying notes
ACCESS YOUR ONENOTE FOR THE 1ST TIME In class, I went over how to access OneNote, our virtual Notebook where I will keep and share ALL notes and resources with you. I know this may be new to many of you so I am including the directions on how to access our OneNote Notebook from our edio class page. The steps and a visual are below. I encourage you to explore our virtual notebook so you are set and ready to roll for class this year. To access our Class Notebook in OneNote;
- Go to the Resources tab in our class under Progress on the sidebar.
- Click on "Launch in New Window where you see the OneNote icon shown below.
- You will be guided to our Algebra 2 Bruckman 24-25 Class notebook.
NEED MORE HELP? If you encounter problems with your OneNote this year at any point, please contact your teacher ASAP! We want you to be successful and OneNote is THE BEST TOOL to make organizing your learning easy!
