What is E-WASTE?

E-Waste or Electronic Waste may be defined as discarded

computers, office electronic equipment, entertainment device

electronics, mobile phones, television sets and refrigerators.

This definition includes used electronics which are destined for

reuse, resale, salvage, recycling, or disposal.

HOW TO?

• Know a product’s lifespan before you buy it.
• Limiting your gadget purchases will help slow down the demand that triggers the production of electronic products.
• Donate unwanted electronics to charities.
• Recycle.
• Reuse.

Avoid making calls when the signal is weak as this causes cell phones to boost RF transmission power.

Avoid carrying your phone on your body at all times.

Reduce the amount of time spent using your cell phone

Use speaker mode, headphones, or ear buds to place more distance between your head and the cell phone.
