The first computers used the vacuum tubes for circuits and magnetic drums for memory and occupied four wholes.And since its way to big the computer they needed a whole room to have a computer.

They used vacuum tubes for circuits and magnetic drums for memory and took up four entires. A magnetic drum is a metal cylinder coated with iron oxide magnetic material in which data and programs can be stored.

The second generation of computers marked history thanks to the technological advance that meant the creation of storage transcistors, which replaced vacuum tubes. In addition, small magnetic rings for storing information began to be used and the programs were improved.
