ABOUT COMPUTERS >:D
TIMELINE
The first computers used the vacuum tubes for circuits and magnetic drums for memory and occupied four wholes. And since its way to big the computer they needed a whole room to have a computer.
They used vacuum tubes for circuits and magnetic drums for memory and took up four entires. A magnetic drum is a metal cylinder coated with iron oxide magnetic material in which data and programs can be stored.

main charecteristics
1971/1981
Much less expensive. More portable.Much smaller size.Available to any type of person. Basic Computer Language.Computer Mouse and GUI Make Computers More Enjoyable.More powerful and reliable than previous generations. Fast processing power with less power consumption. No air conditioning is required. Commercial production.
USE
In the fourth generation of computers there was a radical change that marked a before and after in the technological revolution, all this thanks to the appearance of microprocessors. This generation began in 1971 and ended in 1981. The small size of this chip microprocessor was fundamental to launch personal computers (PCs).

USE
The computers and the speed of their operations have been significantly transformed through out the years.

The size of computers began to decrease, faster and more reliable.
use
1959/1964
The second generation of computers marked history thanks to the technological advance that meant the creation of storage transcistors, which replaced vacuum tubes. In addition, small magnetic rings for storing information began to be used and the programs were improved.

Integrated circuits created since 1958, which are chips. The memory capacity of these computers reached up to 2 megabytes and the processing speed reached 5 million instructions per second.

main characteristic
The third generation of computers began to transit from 1964 and 1971 marked a new era that was defined by the improvement of ICs. It also allowed the introduction of programs capable of being manipulated by the users who carried these computers.

In this generation of computers we live in an era in which most things are controlled by different types of machines and use the CPU to have a faster handling speed than usual.
Considering the technological advances in the area of computing and computing, some dates and characteristics of what is called the fifth generation of computers launched in 1982 culminated in 1989 with the expansion of the 6th generation.
