Bullying is a problem in many schools in Mexico. The NGO Bullying Without Borders estimated that 7 in 10 children in the country had suffered abuse from their schoolmates by 2023. In March of last year, the videotaped beating of Norma Lizbeth Ramos, a 14-year-old girl who was repeatedly hit on the head by a classmate, shook the entire country due to the teenager's death days later.

School violence leaves another victim: Adriel dies in Hidalgo at the age of 11.

The father arrived minutes later and met with the director. He explains that he noticed that he was very nervous, got into his truck and left. "From Thursday until today, nothing has been heard from the director or the teacher. They have not asked, not one call, not one message," explains Adriel's father. The SEPH report also rejects this version.
