Culiacán: Assault in broad daylight in front of schools

Armed men stole a pickup truck in broad daylight in front of two educational institutions in Culiacán, Sinaloa.

Culiacán woke up on Tuesday to the news of a new robbery, one that adds to the growing list of violent robberies that plague the city. The scene of the crime: in front of the doors of two educational institutions, the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente and the Colegio Sinaloa, in the heart of the northern zone.

A group of hooded individuals, with the coldness that only fear can generate, robbed a driver of his white 2023 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck. The handguns, presumed tools of this criminal act, spoke louder than words.

The attackers, who were driving a white Nissan Versa, surprised their victim while he was waiting for the green light at the traffic light on the corner of Lola Beltrán Boulevard and Rolando Arjona

The minutes that followed were a whirlwind of police activity. Agents from various corporations set out to find those responsible, but the fate of the white Versa and its cargo, the stolen pickup truck, remains a mystery.
