David hockney & photo collage

This is David Hockney. He is a British pop-artist, he has worked with photography and photo collage using small Polaroid snaps of subject, Hockney arranged a patchwork to make a composite image. These photographs are taken from different perspectives and at different times, the result is work similar to Cubism.

Your project is to go to your special place in the city of Oaxaca and take many photos of itto make a photo collage.

On your piece of paper (letter size cardboard paper) position your photos to look like a single image, if you need to crop some photos, you can do this now.When your collage looks wonderful you can stick it to the paper.

Steps to follow

1. You must go to your special place in the city of Oaxaca and take a maximun of 20 photographs of it from different angles and positions.2. If you are using a digital camera, you can "enhance" your pictures to give them a different and interesting effect. 3. You must print them on photograph paper. The best place to do this is in a photography shop

In a different piece of paper write a small paragraph explaining why is this place special for you. (60 words minimum)
