Throughout your time here, you will download and upload files for clients. Make a dedicated folder for these files to stay. Empty this folder at the end of each day to keep your hard drive space clear and performance-optimized.

Please make sure your operating system is up to date to the most recent version and is not running any background programs that would interfere with your computer’s performance.

Not all Bond Vet associates work in Eastern Standard Time. For our purposes on the virtual team, the time zone setting on our computers must be on Eastern Standard Time.

Google

Google Chrome

All associates within Bond Vet utilize the Google Suite and Google Chrome for daily operations. Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Safari browsers will NOT work with a few of our programs. Google Chrome checklist

• Download Chrome to desktop
• Set as Default Browser in your computer settings.
• Login to Chrome using your Bond Vet email address.
• Opt-in to SYNC capabilities. This will save all of your bookmarks and passwords.
• Set Profile Picture
• Understand Chrome Navigation
• Clearing Cache and Cookies
• Settings
• New Windows and Tabs

Bookmarks

• Utilize your Bookmarks Manager to organize the bookmarks we advise you of throughout this onboarding process.
• Enable your Bookmarks Bar to have your favorite bookmarks handy quickly.

Google Suite

GMAIL All Bond Vet emails will be filtered through your Gmail account. It is each associates responsibility to check their email daily and reply promptly to any messages.

• Add Profile Picture

Google Calendar

• Accept or decline all invitations in your inbox.
• If you cannot attend any meetings, please decline them and include a message as to why.
• Put in Out of Office notifications when you are on PTO or out sick.
• Creating a new event
• Set Calendar for Monday - Sunday

What is Guru?

Ways to Add & Display InformationGuru displays information with a clear and concise layout that is visually appealing and intuitive. You can think of each section as a folder within a folder. The basic structure is as follows: Collection - a collection of knowledge based around a topic or team. Board Groups - consist of Boards that you can group under one name, allowing for a higher level of organization above Boards. Board Groups are not always necessary within a Collection. Board - this is where you can group cards together by topic. Section - further segment topics by Sections within a Board group. Segments make for easier browsing and content consumption, as opposed to a long list of cards with no clear order. Card - think of a Card as a page of content. The Card is where all the information within the boards is actually stored. Cards should cover a single topic.

Vetspire Macros VS Text Blaze

• Text Blaze snippets and Macros are different.
• Text Blaze is an extension we download that can be used across all of Chrome. You can make snippets, or use snippets that other people have made, to save time typing time.
• Macros on the other hand are built into Vetspire and can only be used in Vetspire.

Snippets

• Only Virtual Operations Management are able to make changes to Snippets
• If you want to make a suggestion for a change or new snippet, reach out to your VOAM.
• Create your Signature
• You will use this for your signature in Vetspire messages
