One can notice that all the people have similar plain clothes : the women wear long dresses that cover their shoulders, arms and legs, bonnets on their heads and aprons. The men wear plain shirts, trousers and hats. The children are dressed similarly but it is worth mentioning that they are walking barefoot in these pictures.Plain = unadorned = simpleThe bonnets are also called kapps.Barefoot means no shoes on.
