Safeguarding

Safeguarding is an umbrella term that means protecting an individual from harm. It is also a term used to describe the duties and responsibilities that those providing education and training must carry out to protect individuals to ensure they feel safe. Safeguarding includes online safety, sometimes referred to as e-safety.

CPC Case Study Test

This test is made up of 7 case studies you work through on a computer. You will be asked between 6-8 multiple choice questions on each case study Once you have passed Module 2, you need inform SP Training and upload your pass letter onto OLLIE If you are unsuccessful in passing – you must inform your manager and SP Training – a re-test will then be requested, and further support put in place if required Once you have passed your Module 2 test, we will arrange your Module 4 training and test

Onboarding

Your apprenticeship training will start after you have begun work; this will start with your induction and completing your first piece of learning. You will be invited to join your Zoom induction by your course tutor or learning advisor, during the induction you will learn about the course content, your responsibilities, Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values. At the end of the session you will be asked to complete a short reflective account to evidence what you have learned that day.

Theory Test (1a & 1b)

This will be taken at the nearest local DSA testing centre to your depot or home You will receive joining instructions from SP Training for your Module 1 Test You will need to pass a multiple-choice theory-based test (pass mark 85 out of 100) and a hazard perception test (67 out of 100) prior to beginning practical training. Once you have passed Module 1a and 1b, you need to upload your pass letters onto OLLIE Once we received confirmation that you have passed, we will organise your practical training.
