Mel's Case:
Struggling in role due to neurodiversity.
Simon's case:
Sonny's Case:
Inappropriate behavior during the first week.
High levels of absence.
Mel's Case
Mel has recently started in your team as an Order Manager. She is doing well in the role and you have been impressed. Mel has Autism and has expressed to you that she underestimated the amount of calls that she would be taking as part of the role and this is leading to her feeling over-stimulated and burnt-out at the end of each day. She has shown interest in a role in another team which has limited customer calls. Would you encourage this move?
Simon's Case
Simon is a Tech Support Advisor and is approaching his probationary review. During his probation he has had multiple occasions of absence; a mixture of Emergency Dependant's Leave, and Sickness Absence. What discussions would you have with Simon about this, and how would this level of absence impact his review?
Sonny's Case
Sonny is a Sales Executive. Sonny has only been at Zen for a week and is still in his induction. On the last day of his induction Sonny became frustrated and lost his temper, he swore aggressively at one of his colleagues in front of the whole team and yourself (his Team Leader). What steps would you take to address this?
