In preparing the work area, Ewans efficiently set up his workspace, ensuring all necessary pipefitting tools and materials were readily available. He implemented appropriate safety measures, including setting up barriers and signage to demarcate the work area. Throughout the tasks, Ewans consistently followed company procedures for pipefitting. He showed particular strength in material handling, using proper techniques for lifting and positioning pipes and fittings.
