BEGINNING : Peter is a boy who can fly and he comes from Neverland, a magic island where children never grow up. The boy often goes to London, in Bloomsbury, listening to Mrs Mary Darling’s bedtime stories by the open window. Mrs Darling has got three children: Wendy, John and Michael. One night in London, Peter loses his shadow and Wendy, John and Michael see them. Wendy helps him to re-attach his shadow to him. Peter invites her to Neverland to be a mother to the Lost Boys, a gang of children who were lost in Kensington Gardens.
MIDDLE: Wendy is very happy and she leaves for Neverland together with Peter, John and Michael. They have many adventure in Neverland. One day Wendy, John and Michael start to miss their parents and decide to go back to London. Unfortunately, Captain Hook captures the three children. Peter save his friends and an he has a final battle against Hook, who, in the end, is pushed by Peter into the water where there is the crocodile .
END: In the end, Wendy and his brother decide to go back home and they bring with them the Lost Boys, who are adopted by the Darlings. Peter Pan don't want to be adopted because he is afraid of growing up, so he returns alone to Neverland. Every year Wendy goes to Neverland to visit Peter.
CHARACTERS
- PETER PAN: 12 years old. Lively, vain and ignorant
- WENDY: 13 years old. Sweet and responsible
- JOHN and MICHAEL: Wendy's younger brothers
- TINKER BELL: fairy with blonde hair and blue eyes, exuberant and kind
- CAPITAN HOOK: 101 years old. Cowardly and vain
- NANA: kind and caring dog
- MR AND MRS DARLING: kind and loving Wendy's parents
- THE LOST BOY: Peter Pan's friends
I liked it because it was exciting with many twists and turns and the protagonists had magical powers. My favorite character is Peter Pan for his courage in battle.
