The main purpose for this mapping is to document and plan teachings and evaluate gaps or patterns in the current curriculum. Planning helps us address concerns and needs in a stratigic and effective way.
Placing Guide
A planning guide is more detialed and help you through your daily, weekly, or monthly goals. " It will help tell you what to teach-and when-based on the goals of your class" (Cescon, 2024). A planingn guide helps you stay on track and keep your goals at the forefront of your thinking when you are planning future lessons.
Lesson Plans
A lesson plan is limited to the daily plans of your class. While the long term goals my be in mind when making lesson plans, the given goals are more focused on daily achievements and behaviors as well as needed materials and supplies.
