Welcome to this online assessment for Zero Responders.This assessment concerns the triaging of casualties in a multi-casualty incident.It is recomended that you have a scrap of paper and a pen or pencil handy.Please enter the requested information on the next page. Scenario
You are walking through the city. The time is 1324 hrs and the weather is fine and sunny.You hear a loud explosion nearby and see smoke above the buildings in the next street.You proceed in that direction

After checking that you are safe, you observe a vehicle on fire in the middle of the road.There are multiple casualties lying on the ground.
A bystander tells you that she is an off duty paramedic and has called for the emergency services.
You and the paramedic agree to split the scene into two areas, taking an area each.She is the on-scene expert, and you will act on her instruction.She asks you to assess the casualties in your area and report your findings back to her.
Your Task...
In a moment you will be tasked to assess four casualties in your area using the ten second triage method that you have learned.
You will be provided with the essential observation information on which we base our assessment:
Is the casualty walking?
Is there severe bleeding?
Is the casualty talking?
Is the casualty breathing?
The following information is provided for each of the casualties. Use this information to categorise the casualty.
