Search Box

Our search function is designed to deliver the most relevant results by prioritizing the following:

  • Exact Phrase
    • Matches in Article Titles The system first looks for an exact match of your search phrase within the titles of articles.
  • Inflected Forms of Words in Titles
    • The system will then consider and display different grammatical forms of the word in the article titles (e.g., "drive", "drive," "driving," and "driven").
  • Phrase Matches in Article Bodies
    • Thirdly, the system will show matches within the content of articles are considered.
  • Wildcard and Order-Variant Matches
    • Finally, the system searches for matches that include variations in word order and wildcard beginnings.

When you have made your search, be sure to examine the top results: Often, the desired article is among the top 10 or even the top result. Take a moment to review these before refining your search or navigating away. Example: Searching for “Cancelation Statuses”

If the article truly can't be found, adjust your approach. If your first search attempt doesn't yield the desired result, modify your search terms based on the previous results.

Learn from Analytics: Regularly review search analytics to understand common search patterns and adjust your search strategies accordingly.

Adapt to Changes: The knowledge base and industry terminology are ever-evolving. Stay updated with changes and adjust your search habits to match.

You can also exclude irrelevant words to narrow your search by removing results you don't need. You can do this by using the minus character (-) to exclude words from your search that might lead to unrelated results for example, let's say I was looking for the Cancellation Confirmation response and I search “Cancellation” This will populate dozens of results for both articles and responses. However, if I then add to my search “-er” (minus er) it will then remove all procedural articles from the search and cut the results in half. This search would look like this:
