This creates confusion and tension among the lovers until Puck is instructed to fix the mix-up by restoring the correct pairings.
OBERON& TITANIA
Oberon, angry with Titania, instructs Puck to use the flower’s magic on her while she sleeps. Titania falls in love with Bottom ( transformed into a donkey-headed man), leading to comedic situations. This helps Oberon get the boy, and he later orders Puck to lift the spell, reconciling with Titania.

THE PERFORMAnce
The artisans propose their show to the master of ceremonies who explains the show to Theseus, inviting him to refuse because he does not believe that the show is worthy of the spectators. The show is then staged and the famous tragedy almost becomes a comedy as it is ridiculous, funny and crass.
how plots are intertwined
- Theseus and Egeus (Hermia's father) are friends
- Hermia and her lovers end up in the magic wood where the artisans are preparing the commedy
- in the wood there are also the Faries queen and king and Puck
- Puck is important for the 4 lovers but also for the artisans
- the queen Titania falls in love with one artisan
- this artisan is the one that Puck transformes in a donkey
- and all of this characters are going to the royal wedding of Theseus and Hippolyta
