CAHV Mounting
Extract from installation manual
The CAHV units need to be mounted on a strong concrete or steel footingConsideration should be made to stop the units operating vibration from transfering into the floor or buildingThe legs on the CAHV are detachable in case you need to remove them to suit your specific installationThe units should always be bolted down to stop movement through adverse weather or other outside influences
Mounting the CAHV units
Mounting methods
The factory fitted mounting feet can be directly bolted down onto a concrete or steel base as shown in the picture to the leftThis method ensures there is sufficient support for the units overall weight and eliminates the chance of the unit moving during adverse weather
Another option for a CAHV base is using a strong steel channel frame as shown to the left. This method allows the units to be securely bolted to the steel channel to support weight and stop movement and also provides good fixing points for the pipe work and electrical cables.

Steel channel base
The third example shows the units being mounted on a solid steel frame, then raised off the floor using specialist anti-vibration mounting feet. This method provides a solid base, but also allows for additional airflow under the units and adequate condensate drain space below the units .The anti-vibration feet will prevent the systems operating vibration from transfering into the roof.
