CAHV BMS interfacing

CAHV BMS control

Most commonly, the CAHV-R units are operated using the external input contacts from external BMS or controls panels

The external BMS inputs include:

  • On/Off demand control
  • Mode change
  • 0-10v temperature control
  • 0-10v capacity control
  • Pump interlock

CAHV-R BMS control

The external input connections can be found on the right hand side of the main PCB as shown in the diagram

CAHV BMS control

The CAHV can also be controlled via Modbus or BACnet through a Procon MelcoBEMs Mini interface The MelcoBEMs Mini has a RS485 connection to communicate with the BMS signal The BMS can both read and write demads to the CAHV through the MelcoBEMs Mini

CAHV control

The CAHV units can be directly operated and controlled through PAR-W31MAA local controllers or a centralised controllers
