Family Wedding
Field Friends
Even though Ray was worried about flying in an airplane, he knew the holiday wedding would be worth it!Ray packed the rest of his clothes into his suitcase and joined his family at the taxi. His sister, Daisy, yawned and rubbed her eyes. They had to leave very early for the plane!
Ray's immediate family met his grandma and grandpa at the airport. They would travel together. The rest of the extended family would meet them in sunny Cuba, including his favorite cousin, Leighton, who was a twin to Aida - not his favorite! Ray and Leighton planned to get together as much as possible without their siblings!
Family Wedding
So many relatives welcomed Ray and family to Cuba! While his parents relaxed by the pool, Ray's aunt and uncle watched him and Leighton splash in the waves. They built sand castles with their baby nephew Aiden, Ray's older brother and his wife's child.
Family Wedding
Ray met Laycie by the pool. She was two years older than Ray and Leighton, and a very fast swimmer. They had fun racing across the pool, and diving for sinky sticks. Laycie must be related to the bride, as they shared many similar traits.
Family Wedding
The marriage was beautiful, and Ray really liked Uncle Dave's new spouse, Renee. Uncle Dave's in-laws were kind and funny, just like Aunt Renee. Ray wondered whether he would be a husband some day, as he remembered his fun with Aunt Renee's niece, Laycie.
