N5 - Area Operations Assistant
Being involved before the opening of a unique boutique bowling experience, it had been my role to design of service flow, and training of staff for the restaurant and bar. Since opening, my role was ensure all staff are working to procedure and completing all duties in a timely manner. I updated training materials for the waiting staff to help them achieve and maintain high standards of customer service. I enjoyed working with customers and always got involved by hosting the restaurant, talking to our customers and transferring customers to the other departments, giving the more “personal touch” to the customer’s experience.
Restaurant Manager: Lane 7, Newcastle
Starting as a supervisor, I worked in a busy entertainment retail shop where customers can buy or trade all types of media and technology. Having been promoted within my first six months, I ran the store in the absence of a Store Manager. I worked to wage cost targets and KPI’s, managing staff ensuring both sales and buys targets are met, with continual staff training. While here, I also created training materials for all the franchise stores to use, which was rolled out as standard. I also dealing with store to store transfers, sales received over the internet and with all customer repairs and/or complaints.
Assistant Manager: CEX, South Shields
