Poem title
Friends?
A friend told me once that another friend was mad, And I didn't understand why. Then the other friend said the that the first friend was sad, And only wanted to cry. A different friend whispered that I was being mean, 'Cuz I didn't try to help. But with all these rumors told by all these teens, All I can say is, "Welp."

Kadie watched her two best friends walking away. Elliot's fist were clenched in anger and Penny had her arms crossed tightly. "You guys, wait!" she shouted quickly. "Penny, I'll go to the Strand with you. We can pick out a pair of shoes." Penny turned around and smiled. "Okay, and after that we can go to the forest path for some peace and quiet." "After that, we'll go to the River Walk and listen to the band," Kadie replied. "I can go to the forest path tomorrow."
“That sounds perfect,” Penny stated. The friends linked arms and started walking toward the Strand. Penny bought a new pair of purple, high-top sneakers. They all enjoyed ice cream while listening to the band. As the sun started to set, the group left the River Walk and decided what to do next.
Opinion
Do you think it is okay to not do what you want in order to keep the peace?
“There’s a cinema at the end of that street,” Kadie pointed out. “That sounds wonderful,” Elliot nodded. “After so much walking, I am ready to sit for a while.” “Plus, we can get popcorn!” Penny said. “Let’s go see what’s playing,” Kadie said, and they started to cross the street toward the cinema.
"Pet Predicament,” Penny read. “This looks like a comedy and a love story.” “Yuck!” Elliot and Kadie exclaimed at the same time.” “I hate comedies,” Elliot moaned. “And I hate love stories,” Kadie groaned. “What else is there?” Penny asked and they moved to the next poster.
“The Way of the Wind,” Elliot read. “This looks awesome! An epic adventure with mythical characters and a dangerous quest.” “It’s three and a half hours long,” Kadie read in a shocked voice. “That’s way too long for me, I have to be home before eleven.” “Besides, I am not in the mood for such a serious movie. “What else is there?” Elliot asked, and they moved to the next poster.
“Crystal Palace,” Penny read. “It looks like an action movie.” “That sounds great,” said Kadie. “Look, there’s no mention of a love story.” “And it’s not too long,” added Elliot. “And it’s definitely not too serious,” said Penny. The friends nodded their heads and went in to buy their tickets.
