Friday Today was the worst day ever! I was babysitting my brother and Kari sent me a video that showed how to make a snack with cheese and peppers. I thought that I might enjoy cooking, but turns out, I can’t cook, either. The instructions said that I needed a hard cheese, some pasta and some tomatoes. I started boiling water, and then cut up three tomatoes, but I couldn’t find any hard cheese. While I was looking, my brother started to cry, and I had to help him find his teddy bear.

I went to look for the teddy bear, and the pan on the stove began to burn. I raced into the kitchen, but couldn’t turn the stove off in time. The smoke detector started whistling loudly and I couldn’t turn it off. I had to open all the windows, so the neighbors heard the smoke alarm and came to find out what happened. All of the neighbors stood outside of the house and laughed at me. I was so humiliated.

My brother would not stop screaming, so I had to take him outside as well. The smoke detector was finally quiet, but the pan was ruined and the whole house still smells bad. My brother didn't want to go inside, so he was still awake when my parents came home. I think I might be the world’s worst babysitter. Mom told me that I must never cook again when she is not home. I know she was angry, but she might also be sad because I am not good at anything. I decided that I will not try any new activities, because I do everything terribly.
