resolution
Good morning, my name is Erik and I am also running for student council president. I am an average student, but am an active participant in many clubs, such as the chess club and the newspaper. I also enjoy wrestling and play the flute in the band. I am confident I can create great, positive change this school year. I enjoy identifying problems and working in a team to find a resolution.

Reading
affordable
This year, my passion is to bring good tasting, affordable, healthy food to the school cafeteria. Right now, many students choose to go to the nearby fast food restaurants, because the offer in the cafeteria is both expensive and disgusting. The vending machines are filled with junk food that offer nothing but empty calories and toothaches. Many students choose not to eat in the cafeteria, which means they are hungry and in a bad mood for the afternoon.
Reading
fixings
I would like to make a deal with the local bakery to bring us fresh, organic bread and the deli at the end of the street has already indicated they are willing to supply a variety of deli meats and all the fixings in order to make sub sandwiches. This will create the option of many, varied, delicious, healthy options for lunch. The deli is also willing to set up a salad bar and provide grilled chicken.
Reading
hesitate
I hesitate to remove all of the items from the vending machines, but I would like to replace some of the chips with protein bars, veggie chips or rice cakes, so students could at least choose to eat something with nutritional value. I promise to bring this healthy food to the student cafeteria in the first week of school so that you can begin to enjoy your food as soon as possible.
