What can you do with a book when you finish reading it?
Reading
proceeds
Do you have too many old books and magazines around your house? What you need is our bookstore! I am the manager of the second-hand bookstore in town. All of our books are donated and we also accept donations of records, CDs andmagazines. We then sell these products to the public at very good prices. All of the proceeds from our sales go directly to the Family Charity, which helps young mothers in need.

shift
Who runs this bookstore are the kind volunteers. Without them, we wouldn't be able to operate. As a volunteer you can choose one paperback to take home for free after every shift working in the store. Volunteers also organise a variety of activities in the book store. Last month we offered English language-learning classes, a book club, yoga classes and an introduction to watercolor painting.

update
We also get the delight of hearing the experiences of volunteers who have been out in the field in the countries where we provide aid. On the first Tuesday of every month one of our volunteers updates uson the education, training and outreach programs that are conducted all over the world. Pictures, videos and testimonials are what you can see during these informative talks.
