How often do you go to the library?
Reading
diverse
Boring is what many people think of when they hear the word library. Well let me tell you, I work in the library and it is anything but boring. In my opinion, the library is the most interesting place in the whole city. We have a very diversecollection that includes the latest paperback novels along with the most popular non-fiction and research books. We also have manga, comic books and even video games that you can check-out for up to three weeks.
Reading
showcase
Every month we create a cultural corner with the help of local citizens, to showcase art, food and literature from different places in the world. On Tuesday evenings, you can come and talk to the artists, sample the food and hear musicfrom local musicians. It is the museum pass that you want to borrow if you are curious. It allows you and four others free entrance into any museum in the city.
Reading
programming
Never have I ever seen such a wonderful multimedia room. In this room, we have thirty laptop computers, with high-speed internet that can be used for school projects, shopping or even gaming. We offer free classes on Thursdays andSaturdays to learn computer programming and website design. We have ordered a 3D printer and hope to have it available by the end of the summer.
Reading
interactive
So, "exciting," "interesting" and "interactive" are what you should say when you think about the library. There are many more activities we offer, such as read alouds, creative writing and illustration instruction. Come by today, it doesn’t cost a thing to get a library card, and you can immediately start taking advantage of all we have to offer.
