E0 Error

This error occurs when the induction cooktop cannot detect any cookware. Causes 1. There is no cookware on the induction cooktop 2. The cookware is not induction compatible 3. The cookware is not making direct contact with the glass top of the unit. Remedy 1. Make sure to place you cookware on the unit prior to selecting a cooking function. 2. Ensure the the cookware you are using is induction compatible. Compatible Cookware 3. Check to see if the cookware is making solid contact with the glass surface.

E1 Error

This error occurs when the induction cooktop detects low AC input voltage - below 100V. Causes 1. Cooktop is connected to an AC power source with insufficient supply - i.e. inverter, generator or similar. 2. Cooktop is has an internal error. Remedy 1. Test the cooktop while connected to a reliable AC power source - i.e. mains AC outlet.

E2 Error

This error occurs when the induction cooktop detects high AC input voltage - above 280V. Causes 1. Cooktop is connected to an AC power source with poorly regulated supply - i.e. inverter, generator or similar. 2. Cooktop is has an internal error. Remedy 1. Test the cooktop while connected to a reliable AC power source - i.e. mains AC outlet.

E3 Error

This error occurs when the induction cooktop detects over heating or a possible heat sensor error. Causes 1. Unit has been used for a prolonged period in high temperature environment - i.e. direct sunlight, areas with limited ventilation, etc. 2. Cooktop heat sensor has an internal error. Remedy 1. Turn the cooktop off, allow it to cool and test it in a lower temperature environment.

E4 & E5 Errors

These errors occur when the induction cooktop detects a potential error with the heat sensor. Causes 1. Cooktop has developed a potential error with the internal heat sensor. Remedy 1. Turn the cooktop off, allow it to cool and test again. If the error returns, contact KickAss Support.

Unable to Change Temp/Power

The Induction Cooktop has eight cooking functions. However, not all of the functions are temperature/power adjustable. Functions with adjustable temperature/power include: - Soup - Fry - Hot Pot - BBQ Functions with fixed temperature/power include: - Steam - Water - Milk - Congee Remedy Should you wish to adjust the temperature or power setting of the induction cooktop, we suggest using one of the adjustable functions.

Power Cuts Out When Using Timer Function

The timer function can be entered from all of the cooking functions. However, you can only utilise the timer on Fry, Hot Pot, or BBQ. If you attempt to use the timer on any of the other functions, the unit will cut power once the timer is set. Remedy Should you wish to use the timer function of the induction cooktop, we suggest using one of the compatible settings (Fry, Hot Pot, or BBQ)

Temperature Is Stuck At 80 degrees

It is likely that you have entered into Warm Mode by selecting the warm button. Warm Mode will hold a contistent 80 degrees which is not adjustable. Remedy To exit warm mode, turn the unit off and on and reselect your desired cooking function. If you had a timer set, you will have to set this again.
