Two types of monitoring are possible:
Light Monitoring: Also known as "computer monitoring," this approach involves observing the student's environment through audio, video, and screen captures. It requires human interpretation of the collected data to assess compliance.
Strict Monitoring: Often referred to as "lockdown browser" monitoring, this method imposes stringent restrictions on the student's activities. The student must remain on a designated web page, and any attempt to download files, open additional tabs, or perform other unauthorized actions will result in expulsion from the exam.

It is essential to tailor the examination test to the chosen monitoring method (or vice versa): For Strict Monitoring: Use a QUIZ activity with multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and/or composition questions if written responses are required. This setup is compatible with the stringent restrictions of strict monitoring methods. For Light Monitoring: If monitoring is less restrictive and you plan to analyze the data afterward, an ASSIGNMENT activity with a PDF submission is a suitable option. This allows for more flexibility in how the exam is conducted and reviewed.

- The "students management" tab contains information about the progress of the student identification process, which must be carried out before the proctored exam. - The "Activities management" tab corresponds to the selection of the QUIZ or ASSESSMENT activity that will be invigilated. - The "Activities report" tab shows the incidents that occurred during the proctored exam. This includes information about audio recordings, screen captures and webcam image captures.
