Our Community Response: SGSecure

A national movement to sensitise, train, and mobilise the community to play a part to prevent and deal with a terrorist attack. It is how the whole of Singapore can come together in response to the terror threat, and safeguard our way of life.

The goal of the SGSecure movement is:

  • To build a community that understands the seriousness of the terror threat and the need to do something about it
  • Respond by taking ownership, and acquires the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, respond to, and bounce back from a terror attack

If you observe any suspicious activities or have concerns about potential security threats, it’s important to act carefully. Do not confront the person directly, as this could escalate the situation. Instead, you should:

  • Inform a security officer on-site if one is available, or
  • call the police at 999, or SMS 70999 if you can't talk, or
  • Submit the information via the SGSecure App
